The Opportunity


ColdFusion is one of the easiest programming environments to use, it enables you to build powerful server-side web and mobile applications very quickly, with much less code than other technologies such as Java, ASP, PHP etc. It also includes a full-fledged API Management Platform to help in the development and deployment of API's, a Performance Monitoring Toolset solution to track the performance of the ColdFusion server, and a fast-paced VS Code-based editor to code your applications at lightning pace!

The ColdFusion team in the Bangalore office is seeking a white-box QE engineer with 2 to 5 years of development and testing experience in Java & ColdFusion to help with the certification of the ground-breaking features that make ColdFusion the top product that it is today.



What You’ll Do

  • You will code to TEST.
  • Work with a team of enthusiastic ColdFusion engineers to research and propose new innovative features to propel the ColdFusion language and platform forward.
  • Help certify new state-of-the-art ColdFusion features as they are being developed.
  • Author and execute test plans with efficiency.
  • Propose and build automation systems and workflows.
  • Engage with the passionate ColdFusion community to respond to user queries.
  • Bring in a great deal of though leadership to every facet of the role to help not just in product features but also process improvements.



What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or higher
  • Advanced coding experience in Java/ColdFusion
  • Strong programming, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills
  • Working experience in application servers (Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere etc.), web servers (IIS, Apache) & databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc.)
  • Exposure to Windows and non-Windows platforms (such as Linux, Solaris and Mac)
  • In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium etc.)
  • Should be highly motivated and able to contribute in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
