Job Summary:

Embedded, System C, Software Modeling

This job posting is primarily for Embedded Software Engineers with experiences in Embedded development, firmware development, transaction-based modeling for digital logic and/or clock accurate modelling. The job involves writing embedded firmware developing software models and developing drivers. The life cycle of the job may require working in any of the phases like requirements capture, architecture, design, coding, testing, integration, release, and post release support.

Key requirements:

                - Experience working in SoC architecture based on ARM, RISC or Xtensa processors

                - Experience developing bare-metal and/or Linux drivers for interface IPs like PCIe, USB

                - Development of functional and behavioral (cycle-level) models in C++/System C

                - Experience running RTL/UVM System Verilog simulation environments for model validation  

                - Knowledge of scripting languages (python, perl)

                - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team spread over multiple time-zones

               - Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Beneficial requirements:             

                - Experience with one or more of the following: memory sub-system, bus/interconnect architecture, high speed IOs, PCIe, Storage controller, CPU architecture

Experience 0-2 years

                - Good understanding of system-level performance metrics and evaluation

                - knowledge of Transaction Level Modeling (TLM) in System C

                - Knowledge of protocols like AMBA BUS, USB, PCIe, Ethernet

                - Knowledge of Interface and storage IP protocols

                - Knowledge of ARM CPU architecture

                - Experience with version control (Subversion / Git)

                - Knowledge of hardware simulation environments and verification IP tools
