Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assisting in conducting site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the team to prepare and review project plans, including drawings, blueprints, and cost estimates.
- Supporting the coordination of construction activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment maintenance.
- Assisting in monitoring and documenting construction progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Participating in meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Assisting in resolving technical issues and providing solutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Conducting research and analysis on industry best practices and emerging trends in civil engineering and construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with 75% in academics is mandatory (candidates currently pursuing their degree are also eligible).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant software applications.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques. - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
