We are seeking a Casting Process Consultant who will lead multiple customer projects as the representative of our company. This role involves designing and developing data-driven solutions for the customers. They should possess the ability to understand the domain and empathize with the thought processes of the end users. Furthermore, they should be self-motivated individuals with a positive 'can-do' attitude, patient in calmly dealing with challenges, and demonstrate the thought process of a responsible leader
- Providing very specialized knowledge of specific casting processes (majorly in aluminium casting processes) and product/die application expertise at the customer site in various phases of our “AI based process optimization” projects, especially during our problem statement definition phase.
- Utilizing past experiences, domain and process expertise to define problem statements, project roadmaps, and ensuring successful project delivery.
- Supporting company mission by solving complex business problems through data-driven solutions for aluminium & steel casting industries.
- Visiting industrial plants and working closely with their operators/engineers/managers to understand their pain-points and translate them into technical requirements for our “AI based process optimization” projects
- Communicating complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders of the projects.
- Developing and implementing guidelines regarding prescriptive actions to foundries. Provide process/equipment change support at customer sites as required

Qualifications and experience:
- 3+ years of casting process optimization experience and have led data-driven projects related to processes and machines of aluminium (preferred) and iron casting industries.
- A Masters/PhD degree in mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering or related fields.
- Fluent with technical communication in the German language (Minimum: B2 level)
- Practical experience with data analytics in research and development projects.
- Programming experience, preferably with focus in data analytics
