Responsibilities of the Candidate:

This position requires a solid technical engineering background and influencing skills, one who loves the use of tech & engineering for solving business problems, can assist colleagues with design, best practices, troubleshooting, and other technical challenges related to the implementation of a critical business/customer facing proposition
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline design and code
Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements
Working with product owners and business stakeholders - implementing internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS technologies
Ensure delivery in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner without compromising quality
Work with support teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs

Requirements:

PL/SQL, Python Knowledge
Developer with hands-on experience in building data integrations from various data sources. This involves designing and developing data extraction/loading, processing, and integration
Write code for functional stories, test cases, infra automation scripts, security scripts, monitoring tools, and other related use cases
Expertise in Java/Python, Oracle/SQL Server, and strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured data sets. Deep knowledge of UNIX system architecture Strong hold on networking core concepts
Hands-on experience with Unix Scripting/Python Expertise on CI/CD pipelines and with DevOps tools like Jenkins/Ansible etc. Working knowledge of APIs, caching, and messaging
Experience in software delivery and agile methodologies. Experience delivering on data-related non-functional requirements like Hands-on experience dealing with large volumes of historical data across markets/geographies
Manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
Building water-tight data quality gates on investment management data Generic handling of standard business scenarios in case of missing data, holidays, out-of-tolerance errors etc
