As part of the Web Engineering team you will be instrumental in enabling Calix to execute on our web presence strategy. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development activities on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform in an agile environment.
As part of the Web Engineering team you will be instrumental in enabling Calix to execute on our web presence strategy. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development activities on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform in an agile environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working on an agile team to build AEM features from user stories
- Developing front-end components and templates in AEM for different page builds on Calix.com
- Developing Java based OSGI services for integrating 3rd party services with AEM
- Development and maintain documentation, demos and proof of concepts
- Troubleshoot and debug our AEM applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience working in AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service is a must
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in AEM concepts such as OSGI, Apache Sling, Blueprints, JCR
- Strong experience building components, templates, dialogs, sling models, servlets and services
- String experience with HTM5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, frameworks (React, Bootstrap) and HTL for front-end development
- Experience with Java development and particularly Apache Sling Models and OSGI development for back-end development and how it flows to the front-end
