Job Description and Requirements:
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our team!
As an R&D Engineer, you will collaborate with our senior technologists on enhancing our Formal Verification products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- As part of the team, design, develop and drive improvements to the verification technology.
- Support the existing functionality and continually strive to enhance the versatility, performance and memory utilization while improving quality of the software.
- Work requires algorithm, data structure design as well as developing robust and efficient implementations.
- Interact with other members of Synopsys R&D, customer support as necessary to understand customer needs and product goals.
- Experience with C and C++ and any one scripting language.
- Good understanding of DS/Algorithm
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Highly developed analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of HDLs (SVerilog/VHDL)
- Knowledge of Compilers
- Knowledge of EDA tools and flows
- Knowledge of software specification and design process, and regression testing.
- Ability to understand customer wants and needs in the formal verification user community, by working with sales and field personnel.
Formality is a formal verification product that determines combinational equivalence between two different representations of a design.
