Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Conduct Software Testing on software applications
  • Perform system-level testing on Starkey’s Software and Hardware systems working either in a team or independently
  • Follow standard Configuration Management practices and utilize a defect-tracking tool Tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
  • Resolve and provide solutions to internal and external customer-related issues
  • Participate in the development and implementation of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and automated testing tools where applicable
  • Provide and promote internal communication between Software Engineering and other functional groups within the organization
  • Interact closely with the Software Engineering development team and assist software developers with problem resolutions
  • Resolve and provide solutions to internal and external customer-related issues

Requirements:

  • Education: 4-year degree or equivalent required
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 - 2 years of software test/quality assurance experience
  • An understanding of Software development lifecycle principles is required
  • A high degree of computer literacy is required
