Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • A hands-on analyst: Design, build, and manage multi-source dashboards that generate actionable insights to serve specific purposes and cater to the different needs of stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business users to understand their goals and requirements. Build practical, insightful, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive dashboards to ease business adoption and enhance decision-making.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive data-driven stories to communicate key insights to various stakeholders. Develop narratives that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ensure visualizations adhere to best practices for data accuracy, consistent aesthetics, user experience, and performance.
  • Unleash the power of data visualization by developing self-service dashboards that enable business teams to accelerate their processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in the business intelligence field (tools and techniques) and be curious to find opportunities to apply them to find/prove business value.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Intelligence and/or data analytics/visualization role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical equivalent experience
  • Expert knowledge of data visualization tools including Tableau. Familiarity with different approaches of metrics/dashboards (e.g.: executive, operational, support, data quality, performance, risk, behavioral, personalized, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Understands and adapts to the working style of cross-functional and global stakeholders/team members in an always-evolving environment. Effectively communicates(written and verbal) with them to move projects forward
  • Being active in the Tableau community and/or having an established Tableau Public portfolio is a plus
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
