Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Tower spotting using PLS-CADD software and knowledge of concepts in tower design and foundations.
  • Knowledge in developing auto-sagging design criteria using PLS-CADD software.
  • 3D modeling of the route and study of phase-phase clearances using PLS-CADD software.
  • Engineers must be familiar with industry codes and standards.
  • Sag-tension and stringing chart preparation using PLS-CADD software.
  • Engineers should have the knowledge in handling the jobs in Bangladesh/ Overseas.
  • Tower spotting in Method-4 using PLS-CADD is preferable in the view of growing demand from various clients.

Requirements:

  • Engineers must have a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD/ZWCAD.
  • Knowledge of Global Mapper/AutoCAD Civil 3D software is preferable for benching volumetric calculations as a part of tower spotting.
  • Engineers must be familiar with Google Earth and have sound knowledge of the study of routes on satellite images.
  • Engineers with Bachelor's/Master’s degrees in civil & Structural Engineering with 2-4 years minimum of experience with High Voltage OH Transmission Lines tower spotting using PLS-CADD software.
