Responsibilities of the Candidate:

Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and providing other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
Reviewing invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
Verifying and calculating all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
Checking vendor files for any previous payments and assigning voucher number
Preparing vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount, and coding per accounting policies and procedures
Identifying & implementing AP improvements

Requirements:

Good communication skills & highly proactive in approach
Strong SME knowledge of accounting concepts
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word
