Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst you should have good functional knowledge of US Healthcare to perform the BA role.

Some of the key knowledge are as shown below.

• Should have Provider, Payor knowledge
• Should have knowledge on HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid.
• Should have knowledge or understanding of EDI ANSI X12

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Should have knowledge or understanding of different electronic Claims (Ex – 835,837,dental etc)
• Should have knowledge or understanding of Claims intake, Claims Adjudication.
• Should have knowledge or understanding of US Healthcare flow.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good to have database knowledge but not mandatory.
