How do you design and handle commerce transactions at high scale when you know that none of the "textbook solutions" will work?
We are looking for someone who would be interested in staying ahead of technology and strive to learn latest cloud technologies. As a Sr. Member of Technical Staff, you will design, implement and own key microservices (internally tied up with commerce platform) for B2B portal for direct enterprise customers and partners. Come and help make history as we change the way an enterprise pivots to Subscription based business models.
About the Job
You will design and implement critical microservices for the commerce platform
You will own a component of product and ensure its production readiness
You will be working on cutting edge cloud technologies
Creative and seasoned and technically strong with proven record in building custom portals with micro services driven architecture and reusable APIs.
You will work with the team of individuals to deliver high quality solves in the areas of B2B with multi-Route-to-Market.
You will require thorough understanding of the SaaS/Subscription commerce using modern distributed systems architecture
You will be partnering with E2E architects, product owners and/or Business Systems Analysts, engineering teams, business stakeholders to lead the systems design and implementation of the technical solves from the system perspective
The solve should be a comprehensive solution which targets Zooms future business scale integrating with other rest of business eco systems

About the Role (Responsibilities includes but not limited to)
You are experienced and a confident engineer in writing software code on one or more programming languages with strong knowledge on Subscription based Billing Platforms
Java EE experience including REST services, Web Services, and/or other portal technologies
Preferred experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server and any no-sql db’s like Maria, MongoDBExperience with Struts, HTML, XHTML, JavaScript
Working knowledge of software engineering principles, domain driven design patterns, and R&D Engineering practices
Use of integration applications (eg., mulesoft, rmq, kafka, SOA etc)
Knowledge of cloud foundry, Kubernetes, Dockers, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, spring boot and Hibernate / JPA
Familiar with Devops processes and agile methodology
You must have experience in debugging and identifying bottlenecks and performance optimization
You feel comfortable in building high-performance, highly available and scalable distributed systems
You have strong computer science fundamentals
Have experience integrating the microservices/custom portal applications with ERPs like Oracle (On-Prem/ Cloud) / Zuora/ or CRM systems like SFDC will be a plus
You will work closely with the product owners, and cross functional tech leads, and other engineering teams in our organization on planning upcoming work and formalizing proposals
Partner with multiple technology teams (eCommerce, Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Data Engineering, Cloud-Native tech in-house systems) to architect the system solves keeping the customer/partner experience as focus, moderate the technical requirements, high level design with system integrations and convert them into understandable and executable format by other team members
Establish credibility and relationships with cross functional and senior technical leaders within Zoom and among customers and become trusted advisors
Present technical architecture deliverables such as Ecosystem and Integration diagrams, Object and Data models, Business Process Flows, Micro-Service designs to abstract the core ERP features into consumable grade APIs
Must be able to adapt to an evolving environment and set of responsibilities
About You
Highly seasoned professional and thorough hands on experience on SaaS/Subscription business models using cloud native technologies including robust functional and technical experience in highly available distributed systems architecture
Excellent communication skills
Manage a multitude of projects with effectively and efficiently problem solving abilities
Ensure work is performed in accordance with a high standard of service and quality
High level of attention to detail while maintaining vision of the larger business objectives and meet company goals
Plan, organize and manage stakeholders effectively
Highly organized, self motivated, & Multitask effectively
Experience in presenting systems/IT concepts to senior IT leaders and architects, ability to communicate with passion, articulate with in technical context solving business use cases
Highly positive and collaborative individual that excels at developing working relationships, building consensus, and fostering trust and collaboration at all levels
