Job Description
We have a recruitment opportunity for a Software Developer to develop a GSM-based Software stack for Telecom Equipment.
Minimum 5 to 7 years of Software development Experience preferably in the Telecom Segment.
(1) The candidate should be proficient in the following:-
- C programming language - Minimum 5 Years Experience and above
- GSM development experience – Minimum 5 Years Experience and above
- GPRS - Minimum 5 Years Experience and above
- TCP/IP Architecture
- Classical algorithms
- Data structures
- Debugging
(2) Having any of the following skillsets will be given a preference:-
- System understanding of the GSM/GPRS network and preferably LTE
- Expert knowledge of C language
- Experience in architectural work
- Ability to understand large volumes of other people's code
- Experience in code optimization (both platform-independent and hardware-specific)
- Experience in developing high-load systems
- Experience in developing load-balancing systems
- Experience in code profiling
- Experience in porting code
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and experience with Matlab
- System programming experience
- Ability to work with documentation (primarily read and understand)
- Ability to debug your own (and other) code, as well as test it
- Knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures
- Experience writing multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programs
- Knowledge of TCP/IP-based networks
- Experience with embedded software and real-time systems
- Experience with version control and bug-tracking systems
(3) Important Abilities Required
- Fluency in English as a spoken language
- Communication and writing skills
- Discipline
- Result Oriented and Target Achievement Capability
- Open for flexible work timings
- Willing to work from home OR work remotely
- Availability 13:00 - 21:00 IST for the first 1 or 2 months, then the schedule might change
(4) The candidate should be willing to pass a GSM SW development test task.
