Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a high level of curiosity and keep up-to-date on the latest technologies.
Write, deploy, and help support quality production code in a microservice architecture.
Communicate and collaborate with QA and other development teams on tasks.
Participate in PagerDuty rotation and resolve technical issues promptly.
Stay current with industry developments and new trends.
Minimum requirements:
2+ years of software development experience using Java.
Some work experience with REST APIs
Experience with Unix-based operating systems.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
You are curious, self-driven, ask questions and have the willingness to learn.
Desirable Skills:
We expect you to have experience with some of the following technologies and are willing to learn the rest:
Spring, Jenkins, Kafka, Git, Python, and Maven
AWS: DynamoDB, SQS, EC2, ASG, Lambda, S3, etc.
Elasticsearch and Kafka
Distributed Systems and Micro-Services
