 MakeMyTrip is hiring for the role of Business Manager Experienced Candidates Can Apply 

The main objective is to automate conversion of dataframe from .xml format to .csv format, for use at Flight Operations Analysis (FOA) group. Understand the methodology of both Flight Analysis Program (FAP) and FOA and develop an automated tool/script to perform the conversion in both directions. The inputs will be raw data of flight, dataframe specification document, sample xml file(s) from FAP and sample csv file(s) from FOA. The outcome of this internship is a software that takes input as xml and output as csv and vice-versa.

Main activities: 

•  Undergo training on Flight data decoding and validation using Insight tool by following FOA process

• Perform decoding exercises of FOA

• Learn FAP xml decoding for parameters and ways of coding

• Explore DFD tool and identify the mapping between FAP and FOA

• Understand the similarities and differences between the decodings of FAP (xml) and FOA (csv) for all types of parameters (BNR, DIS, BCD, Standard, Derived, etc.)

• Develop a tool to convert xml to csv and vice-versa.

• Validate the results between FAP and FOA for defined dataframes

• Tools knowledge: Insight, FAP, Python, DFD

• Documentation of the tool development, usage and limitations

 

Skills: 

- The intern is expected to have a basic knowledge on Aerospace engineering and flight parameters.

- Python code is preferable for this task
